Nevadaville is a ghost town located on Colorado's Front Range in Gilpin County. In the 1800's Nevadaville was a gold camp turned boom town with 4000 residents. Colorado's economy was heavily dependant on Gold and Silver Mining. Nevadaville residents, mostly miners, purchased tools, weapons and provisions from this General Store.
Times change, the Marketplace evolves.
Colorado's Gold and Silver boom ended a long time ago. The little General Store in Nevadaville now caters to a different crowd. Antique hunters, curiosity seekers, or just some folks in search of a piece of the old West; all are welcome at the Nevadaville General Store. General Store proprietor (and camera shy) Wayne Rogers – holding up the map – looks forward to your business. Even if you don't buy anything, he will regale you with stories of the area. (Ask him about the stuffed Big Horn Sheep's head. . . .)
