When it comes to caramel coated popcorn and buckets of French fries, the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland might be the marketplace of the U.S. or maybe even the world. Thrasher's French Fries has been serving potatoes fried in peanut oil since 1929 and on weekends or during the summer months, you'll have to stand in a block-long line to buy them! You can hear a tourist asking for ketchup in the soundtrack, but Thrasher's only offers vinegar and salt for their fries.
This panorama was created from a time-lapse multiple exposure with at least 6 individual layers for each image. The layers were combined to create a conventional multiple exposure image. Select people were then cut out from individual layers and placed on the top layer to create an interesting collage of sharp and ghost images of the weekend crowd.
Check out my latest project "ArtBpics" at TumblingMonkeys.com. It's a photo-documentary of my surfing sessions inspired by my WWP Sanctuary entry.
