Erik Krause: Freiburger Münstermarkt from above

Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
I was looking whether I could shoot a panorama from the upper platform of the tower where I met a technician who took photos from each stone of the walls there.

We talked a bit and I explained what I wanted to do and that it would be better to not be so high above the market. He said that he had a general key and if it wouldn't take too long we could go down on the Sterngang - the lowest balcony around the tower - which is normally closed to the public.

The panorama was shot with the camera on a monopod held over the railing much the same as my 'Welcome to Verdon' panorama.
