Though they don't win everything, they do participate in everything, and for the big prizes that means Success. Here they show the trophies from winning the Auckland Area Sea Scout Regatta, the countries largest Area Regatta. Later on at Easter they traveled to Lyttleton (earthquake country, next to Christchurch) to successfully defend the Lord Jellicoe Trident (National Championship) at the New Zealand National Sea Scout Regatta.

Success is at once a part of New Lynn's culture, as it is a product of it's culture.

Inclusion, participation, co operation, having fun and that old Scouting adage of 'doing your best', add up to success for the individual as well as the Group.
