In the years 2010 and 2011 the old-school artist and designer LAKE13 (Lars Kesseler) and some kids sprayed the gray and ugly looking subway-walls at Europaplatz in Aachen.

The Europaplatz is a rotary traffic with a fountain in the center connecting the German freeway A 544 and the streets Joseph-Von-Görres-Straße and Europaplatz. The river Wurm flows through the city in a canal and resurfaces here at the Europaplatz.
