The first private long distance railway operator in Austria, started its operations on Dec. 11, 2011, between Vienna and Salzburg. Due to new European liberalization laws railway networks have to be open for all operators. This new and completely private company is operating with 7 bi-level train sets made by Swiss manufacturer Stadler. These trains are capable of running at 200km/h (125 mph).
