This is my Panorama of the Year especially because this is my Mother's 100th Birthday. An amazing woman, born in London in 1911, she has lived through two world wars, worked for the BBC, raised a family and traveled the world. She has a wealth of knowledge on our culture and still she can remember more than I can and is a joy to talk with every week, we even Skype nowadays.
I would have wished to post this for the WWP Family event but that was too early, equally the image would work for the WWP History event or even the WWP Limits event as my Mother has broken all age limits in my family in the UK. Naturally I am in this panorama, there I am kneeling while my relative took the last photograph. And check out the birthday card from Queen Elizabeth II on the center of the mantlepiece.
