New Place @ the Corner of Borngasse and Franzstrasse

This panorama was shot from the new place at the corner of Borngasse and Franzstrasse in Aachen, Germany, with a little green area where you can have a break and new office buildings and restaurants.

The complete area was newly built in the year 2006-2010. You can have a look in Google Earth where you can still see the old buildings.

Not far away there is another nice area with a cinema, post office and furthermore restaurants.

If you are visiting Aachen by train, you can do a 5-10 minute walk from the central railway station (HBF) to the downtown center of Aachen over a newly created and handicapped-accessible outside staircase to this and the other area. Don't miss it.
