During my ongoing series of making panos from interesting people I met "The mirror maker". Watch him in his studio in Burgschleinitz in Lower Austria—a realm of fascination and a thousand stories. There he stores more than 1,000 grindstones of all sorts, sizes and ages which he collects and uses for his unique art. Ernst Kienesbergers mirrors are unique masterpieces of art, each made by hand. He masters ancient glass grinding techniques and is thus, in Austria, the last of his profession.
