Each year, around the time of the winter solstice, the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown, NY, holds a Candlelight Evening, during which the buildings and grounds are lit by over a thousand candles and luminarias to celebrate the holiday season. Horse-drawn wagon rides, bonfires, caroling and hot wassail add to the festive ambiance. This panorama was shot behind the chapel in a less trafficked area of the grounds, shortly after sunset.
