Like many Maldivian islands Emboodhu Finolu is entirely given over to a hotel, in this case The Taj Exotica Hotel. These luxury hotels contribute enormously to the country's economy, but of course transporting the guests there from around the world is one of the biggest causes of global warming which threatens these fragile environments.
