This was a tough pano to shoot for two major reasons: Pedestrian traffic (tunnel lives up to its name) and Dynamic Range.

It is ALMOST pitch black inside the tunnel while bright and sunny outside. Also, the constant flow of pedestrians made it take far longer than the usual minute or two.

Oh, and let's not forget EVERYONE stopping right in front of the lens to ask you what you are doing, what magazine do I work for, where is the nearest bathroom, etc.

I loved the way the lines have a magical visual effect and so it is my favorite Panorama of 2008.

Nikon D2Xs, Sigma 8mm f/3.5, Nodal Ninja 5. Edited in Lightroom, Pano processing in PTGui 8.0.2, QTVR output in Pano2VR 2.0.2. Final color correction of Equirectangular image was done in Photoshop CS3. Operating System is Windows Vista Ultimate x64, Quad Core w/ 4GB RAM.
