San Francisco is a gorgeous city filled with opportunities for beautiful photography. Due to the nature of the rolling hills and the picturesque waters that surrounds the city there are numerous landmarks and vista points for scenic photography. San Francisco also has a beautiful urban culture that can mesmerize its visitors. As a resident, I'm always looking for new angles to see San Francisco from.
The reason that I submitted this view from a rooftop in the Nob Hill area was that once I was on the northeast corner of the building, I instantly felt the space between me and the major San Francisco landmarks open up. I've been fortunate to have access to several elevated views in San Francisco to shoot VR photography, but this view just struck me in a different way.
The scene had a cityscape that I have not seen in other photos. This unique location allowed me to see the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower, the Bay Bridge, and the Transamerica building ... effortlessly.
I'm proud to be a Bay Area resident and to be able to share this unobstructed view with the fellow VR photographers is exciting to me.
