Ljubljana was already covered with New Year's decorations which boasts of the splendor and the progress of civilization. But what is the progress of our civilization ... the consumption of natural resources and the self proclamation of the Humans to be the owner of the whole World? How can Man rule the World when it can not even respect the rights of every single human. On December 10, 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. On the eve of the 60th anniversary 1,000 candles were lit for human rights in the downtown of the Slovenian capital.Location
