Caption
Shot in the hot Arizona Desert just outside Gold Camp Arizona about 60 minutes east of Phoenix. I captured a Red Tailed Hawk circling above and thought it was a nice addition having it flying over this huge Saguaro Cactus. A large Saguaro cactus like this with 5 arms and reaching over 25 feet in total height is estimated to be about 200 years old. Also in the panorama you'll see some prickly pear cactus (survival food/water in the desert), Palo Verde Trees, an Iron Wood Tree, desert sage and Mesquite. The Superstition Mountain Range lies just to the west in the background - home of the lost Dutchman Gold Mine.
