Transcendance. Born out of warfare, and aggression, today's
carousel holds little resemblance to anything military as we know it.
Guided by a love of artistry and music, the look of the modern carousel
has evolved. Now an entertainment activity at fair grounds and amusement parks, or subjects of fascination at museums, the carousel reached its prime in the early years of the 20th century. Here in Vermont, where in
every mid Sepetember the Tunbridge Worlds Fare opens it's gates to
fans of county fairs, parents, children, and one photographer
enjoy a spin on the grand Carousel.
It gives pause thou, to speculate, what activity will come of our contempory
technologies used in combat? Will they too transcend the
darkness of agression?
