The season-end party for the Snowmass Ski Area staff. On this day, managers and supervisors man the lifts, food stations and this Snow Bar, while the employees get to play. This Snow Bar was built that morning and withstood the long lines of thirsty employees throughout the day. In the background, toward the building, a raffle is underway with prizes that included a mountain bike, ski equipment and a beach vacation in Mexico. A few in the crowd have their hands up in anticipation for the swag that was tossed out at frequent intervals.

By the way, the skiing conditions were close to midwinter in the higher elevations.
