We were visiting St Peter's Basilica with our students last February 21. After the explanations free time was allowed so as anyone could visit the place. I went to see Michel Angelo's 'Pietà' when a sudden rumour announced the Pope's presence. Everybody started shooting pics frentically and I was in dispair, as I was far away and I am short, so all I could see were the heads of those taller than me, their arms streched out, cameras everywhere, etc, etc.
To try my pic I grabbed the tallest of my students around and used him as human monopod. I made him get the camera and guided his turning around taking the ceiling of the basilica as the fixed reference for the spinning. And it worked! No bottom shot though.
I appreciate this pic because of its story.
