I would like to present to you JEUGDCIRCUS ATLETA from Warmond. Atleta is an enthusiastic association which was established 1960. For more then 47 year the circus successfully performed throuhout the Netherlands, for young and old.
The artist group exists of boys and girls from Warmond and surroundings and is aged between 7 and 17 years. They practice twice a week to master the different acts. These young people are supported by a group of volunteers. Many of them were active as an artist themselves.
The programme consists of approximately 16 different acts. You can enjoy a monocycle act, several acrobatic acts, juggles, walking the thin wire, a large ball act and, as you can see in the panorama, a fakir acting on his nail bed.
