For a Japanese men, nakedness in Festival is a sacred one. We shoulder the portable shrine putting on only the loincloth - called fundoshi, and is strained. it becomes sacred feelings.
"Fundoshi" is a traditional Japanese underware, and very popular for us.
It is not only a underware, but also means our spilit itself.

There are many Idioms about "fundoshi" in Japan. For example,
"Loosening fundoshi", means slackening feelings.
"Rent other's fundoshi", means sumo practice.
"Women's fundoshi", means economic austerity, Oh, it means "No Obstacle and digging to" !!
