The construction of the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral was started in 1939 and completed in 1955. Today, it serves approximately 2800 francophone Roman Catholics living in the City of Moncton and surrounding area in the province of New Brunswick, Canada.

The church features a Casavant Brothers organ (1955) and two large mosaic murals (2006) by the well-known local artist Claude Roussel. These can be seen in the image above.

The Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral measures approximately 75 metres (242 feet) by 27.4 metres (90 feet). Despite its age, it is still today one of the more impressive buildings in the city.

Eight vertical images were captured in RAW format, colour-corrected, converted to TIF format, then stitched, sharpened and saved as a QuickTime QTVR file. Angle of view is almost 90(v) by a full 360(h) degrees.
