My favorite VR shoot this year was at Steve's amazingly weird house here in Seattle. A fantastic collection of all things odd and unusual, all packed and arranged carefully over a time period of about 15-20 years. There is no better way to capture all of this craziness except for VR. The online VR tour of this private "museum" has turned him from a local celebrity of sorts to an international one. With tens of thousands of people from all over the world finally experiencing this amazing place for themselves monthly. The depth and breadth of his knowledge regarding the artifacts throughout his victorian era house is truly astonishing. He can spend more than an hour just telling you about this single room. The world's first video arcade game? A sensory deprivation tank? All that and much more are tucked away in this room. What this VR does not capture however are all the blinking and spinning lights that really make the experience that much greater! See the complete tour of Steve's Weird House here: http://www.vrseattle.com/pages/browse.php?cat_id=845 Steve is currently adding additional rooms to make space for more things and to "spread the load" from other rooms in his house.
