Every four years, during the World Cup Soccer Football, in Brazil everybody goes crazy, completely nuts :-) On the streets of all cities, people get together to watch the games crying and yelling at the same time.

Everything closes down; Banks, Offices, Shopping Centers, even big Companies like Coca-Cola it all send their employees back home to watch the games.

On the streets it's even difficult to get a taxi cab since all drivers stop their cars at the bars and restaurants on the corners all over town to watch the games. The subway and the buses also stop. Schools do not have class not either Universities.

Everybody goes crazy :-)

Here I was working for a brazilian newspaper online called O DIA <www.odia.com.br>, where I always have a chance to show my work as a VR news photographer.

I hope you enjoy the scene and if wanna see more, take a look at my new website <www.rio360.com.br> it's still only in Portuguese but in 2007 it will have a new english version as well.

Thanks and all have a wonderfull 2007. AYRTON
