The Wind Power Museum in Lubbock, Texas shows off many different varieties of windmills. Both wood- and metal-vaned ones can be seen in this panorama. Visitors to the museum will be shocked by the size of some of the windmills up close, with exhibits in the building that bring the mechanism down to eye level so you can see what's going on.
There are about a hundred windmills of various sizes on display inside and outside the facility, including several which are the last of their kind in existence.
