ICE is a holiday attraction at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando Florida. The sculptures are hand-carved from nearly 5,000 blocks of ice weighing almost two million pounds. The ICE display includes four rooms, a winter forest with lighted ice bridge (shown here), Santa’s Toyland, a life-sized nativity and a castle with three ice slides that visitors can slide down. All of this is inside a special section of the Gaylord Palms convention center, refrigerated to 9 degrees Fahrenheit.
