As you hike up the John Muir trail towards the top of Nevada Fall your view of the Fall becomes more stunning with each switchback. It culminates with this view at the start of "The Cut" where the trail goes along a cut that was blasted out of the cliff face. As you can see there were quite a few people passing me while I was taking this shot. A number of them stopped for a while to enjoy the view. Many also took a bit of it home with them when they took their own pictures.

Three trips to Yosemite during the summer of 2005 taking panoramics, initial setup of the domain http://www.virtualyosemite.com/ , and still no finished images or content on the web site. I can say this is my best of 2005 because it's the only one publicly released. I guess I need to spend some time this winter working on producing some finished images!
