The Gandhi Samadhi at Raj Ghat is located on the banks of the river Yamuna in New Delhi. This beautiful and peaceful memorial dedicated to the Father of the Indian Nation is not much of a sanctuary in the daytime when millions of tourists converge here from all parts of the World.

At 6 Am in the morning however this is one of the most beautiful spots in Delhi, where one can take peaceful walks and feel the spirit of this great man, who through his unique vision of non-violence brought the British Empire to its knees.

I started shooting at 7:00 AM in the early morning light intending to make a Cubic from just near the inscription. But the Sadhu and the workers kept arranging the flowers till 8:00AM As soon as they finished they did a brief prayer, and i got my centre shot quickly by resting my camera on the low wall. Suddenly the fog came in from nowhere and soon no more shots could be taken. But I had my Sanctuary Shot :-)
