After snow fell during the night of the winter solstice, everything is quiet and silent in this residential neighbourhood of Frankfurt-am-Main.

It doesn't snow very often here, so this was the perfect timing for a panorama of a particular moment in time.

I missed the exact winter solstice by an hour - sleep is a precious gift with the children in the house.
