H. 7.08, winter solstice: As ten years ago, many photographs all around the world took their photos as much as possibile in the same moment, considering also the lighting condition.
At first I wanted to shoot not considering the outside light level. Then, for I need some help from my wife so I could appear in the picture with Santa hat on, and let my son do the same, I was obliged to shoot later on.

Milano, 22 dicembre 2007, ore 9 circa del mattino. Alle 7,08 c’è stato il solstizio d’inverno. Come dieci anni fa, diversi fotografi intorno al mondo hanno scattato le loro fotografie quanto più possibile nello stesso momento, compatibilmente con le condizioni di illuminazione.
All’inizio volevo scattare indipendentemente dal livello dell’intensità luminosa esterna. Poi, necessitando di aiuto per gli scatti in cui compaio anch’io, col cappello di Babbo Natale in testa, ho preferito attendere un’ora più felice per permettere a mia moglie di aiutarmi, ed a mio figlio di partecipare, sempre con lo stesso berretto in testa, naturalmente!
