"Too Little, Too Late" - A Wrinkle In Time Tribute - Winter Solstice, 2007

Taken in Warner Robins, Georgia, USA by Georgia Real Tours, LLC for the World Wide Panorama event "A Wrinkle In Time Tribute". Shot approximately 1245 EST (-5:00 UT). [This is my first public pano.]

In the middle of nowhere long ago, a bowling alley and skating rink were erected in a field. As the bowling alley died, a new neighborhood sprung up nearby... not soon enough to save either entertainment place, who's heyday has long since past, and slowly they dissolved into oblivion.

The main building to the east is a dead bowling alley that *finally* closed sometime between July 1st and November 1st, 2007; it had sporadically opened and closed over the past decade. Directly to the south is an old skating rink (which is completely hidden from street view by a quiet yet non-sequiter business). These were built essentially in a field and not next to any residential area. New neighborhoods were slowly built nearby, but today's families are far less likely to bowl or skate, rendering the fate of these two entities imminent.
