The city of Istanbul is located in two continents: Asia and Europe. This park is located in Istanbul, on the Asian side, in a community known as Üsküdar. Kuruçeşme Park is a small, nice, and warm place with trees, benches, picnic tables, playground and a little waterfall which operates in the summer months. If offers a great opportunity to rest in the middle of the city near my place. In the warm season, neighbors come here to read, relax, or have a picnic.

During the earthquake of 1999, many people, including myself, spent the night in this park. Although at the time I was very frightened, I was safer away from the buildings of the city. Therefore, this park is important to me.
