Since I live in Hawaii and the organizers of the first Wrinkle In Time were here in Hawaii I decided to shoot my panorama at the exact time of the winter solstice. Since I work nights this meant it had to be somewhere near where I work. This time of year the Honolulu Civic Center area is lit up for the holidays and I decided that would make a good subject. I walked outside around 7:40 to set up and did a few panos while waiting until 8:08 came around. Luckily I did as it started to rain and I had no rain protection for my camera gear and so my pano ended up being made a little before the time I wanted.
