The old and the new on the campus of the University of Aberdeen. A sculpture titled “A youth with split apple” by the artist Kenny Hunter stands in front of the New Kings lecture theatres built in the 19th century. They overlook the historic centre of the university, the Kings College Chapel which was completed in 1509 fourteen years after the founding of the university in 1495.
