I just wanted to take part in this event, and the sundial seemed so "right" for the occasion. The time was right (see the clock) but until 30 seconds before the sky was full of grey cloud. So when the sun burst through I just "went for it", completely forgetting to set the camera for the change in light levels. So please forgive the lack of "technique", it is all upward from here!!!!
Claphams Clock Museum has been a part of Whangarei for as long as I can remember, and being situated at the Town Yacht Basin is a real focus for tourists and locals alike.
I love the colour of the place and the people, sadly the people were missing at 1908hrs that day but I guess it made it easier for my contribution to WWP
