The exact solstice in Ljubljana was at 07:08 on 22nd December. I was with the dilemma what location to pick. The great moment and the documentation of the event shall be a celebration of the entrance of Slovenia into the Schengen area - "Europe with no borders", but the ceremony was in the evening of the 21st December on the border with the Italy - still within the allowed time to shot the pano, but not on the exact moment. I stand up early in the morning - it was -5°C, and went into the downtown of Ljubljana. Prešeren Square is the most vivid place of the capital, but this morning it was still sleepy...
I set up the tripod and the camera and waited until the 07:07 hour, and then I shot half of the pano and at 07:08 hour the rest of the scene. When I came home nobody even noticed that I was out...
